FIRST FARMERS & MERCHANTS BANK STRENGTHENS IT’S SUPPORT FOR LOCAL YOUTH THROUGH RENEWED INVESTMENT IN BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

Columbia, TN – First Farmers & Merchants Bank, a Columbia-based bank wholly owned by First Farmers & Merchants Corporation, has made a generous $25,000 donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee (BGCSCTN). This gift reflects First Farmers’ deep commitment to strengthening the communities they serve and underscores the bank’s leadership in giving back to local causes.
First Farmers has been a trusted partner of BGCSCTN since the organization’s founding in 1999. Beyond financial contributions, the bank has demonstrated extraordinary commitment through volunteer board leadership and employee involvement in hands-on service, ranging from financial literacy workshops to serving meals to Club members. In recognition of this dedication, First Farmers received a prestigious 2023 C.A.R.E. Award (Children Are the Reason for Excellence) from the Tennessee Area Council of Boys & Girls Clubs. Selected from nominations across more than 70 Club sites statewide, the bank was honored for its outstanding commitment to Tennessee youth.
