The staff of Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee (BGCSCTN) represents a solid foundation for our organization’s success. Committed to excellence in youth development, our team works diligently to create safe, supportive environments where young people can fully realize their potential.

Spanning Clubhouse sites and school-based locations, our staff members bring a wealth of experience in education, youth programming, and community service. Each individual is dedicated to advancing the Club’s mission, fostering academic achievement, leadership development, healthy lifestyles, and positive character growth among the youth we serve.

Recognizing that the strength of our programs is directly linked to the strength of our team, BGCSCTN is proud to maintain a nationally recognized culture of professional learning and growth. Staff members participate regularly in advanced trainings, certifications, and leadership development opportunities, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and service.

GINNY WRIGHT
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Ginny Wright joined Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee as Chief Executive Officer in October 2022, bringing over 20 years in the Boys & Girls Club movement. Ginny’s passion for community and kids led her to the Club at an early age. She began volunteering at Boys & Girls Clubs of Rutherford County when she was 16. She worked in Clubs as a Youth Development Professional through high school and while attending the University of South Carolina. In 2005, Ginny began working full time for Boys & Girls Clubs of Rutherford County. Ginny held multiple positions, providing a first-class program and increased average daily attendance to almost 400 kids a day. In 2013, Ginny was named CEO for Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County. In her tenure as CEO, Ginny modernized Club and organizational practices, developed staff and volunteers, and created relationships throughout the Carter County community. Under her leadership, the organization more than doubled its attendance and operating revenue. Ginny was named the 2017 Southeast Region New Executive of the Year. Ginny joined Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport in 2021 to help re-open sites, increase staff training and development, and improve the Club member experience. During her time in Kingsport, Ginny created the first full time Social & Emotional Well-Being Coordinator position in collaboration with Ballad Health and other area Boys & Girls Clubs, re-opened three Club sites, and created an organization-wide training program. In her spare time, Ginny enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her wife, two children, and dogs. She also enjoys watching the championship winning USC Women’s basketball – Go Gamecocks!

JOSH CAMPBELL
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Chief Operations Officer Josh Campbell joined the Boys & Girls Club Movement in 2004, as a summer camp counselor in Michigan with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo. In 2006, he moved to Oahu to attend Hawaii Pacific University and while there worked with Boys & Girls Clubs of Hawaii. During the summer months Josh returned to the Boys & Girls Club camp in Michigan as the assistant director. In 2007, he went to Kenya to renovate primary schools and build playground equipment for the kids. Then in 2008 he started as the Director of Community Outreach and Environmental Education for the Kalamazoo Club. He remained in that position for seven years before taking over operations of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Island (Hawaii) in  2015. In 2017, Josh was hired as the Director of Program Quality/Spring Hill Unit Director. Shortly thereafter he was selected to serve as one of Nashville After Zone Alliance‘s (NAZA) Fellows and certified as an External Assessor of Youth Program Quality through the David P. Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality. In December 2018, Josh was certified as a Youth Work Methods Trainer by the Forum for Youth Investment and the Weikart Center. Josh was promoted to Chief Operations Officer in August 2019. In 2022, Josh received the NTI Train the Trainer Award from Boys & Girls Clubs of America. This award recognizes an NTI (National Trainers Initiative) Tier 2 Trainer who has shown excellence in leading the NTI Tier 1 Training of Trainers. Josh also received the 2022 TN Professional of the Year Award during the Tennessee Area Council conference. Josh was chosen for 2023 Class of Woodruff Fellows by BGCA, providing scholarship funding towards receiving his M. Ed in Adult and Lifelong Learning from the University of Arkansas. Josh was also recently certified as a ATD Master Trainer by the ATD Certification Institute, for having successfully demonstrated mastery in the talent development capability of Training Delivery & Facilitation. He is also certified as a Child Abuse Prevention Education (CAPE) Specialist and is a member of the Mt. Pleasant Rotary Club.

CARRIKA WASHINGTON
DIRECTOR OF IMPACT AND OUTCOMES

Carrika Washington joined our team in the summer of 2016 as the Wayne Street Program Director and was promoted to Director of Impact and Outcomes in July 2025. Her journey with the Club began even earlier—as a proud Club parent. Her son, Chase, has been a member since kindergarten. Carrika became Program Outcomes Director for our Clubhouse sites in April 2019 before being promoted to Wayne Street/Randolph Howell Unit Director in October 2019. In the 2019, Carrika helped with receiving the Program Excellence Award for our SMART Girls program. Carrika loves having the annual SMART Girls Conference with our Club members. In 2019 Carrika was also trained, tested, and certified as an External Assessor of youth program quality through the David P. Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality and the Nashville After Zone Alliance. Carrika is also a certified Tier 2 National Trainer, a Methods trainer, and a Mental Health First Aid certified trainer. When she isn’t working at the Club, she enjoys being with her family, traveling to different states, and eating at fancy restaurants.

PETER POON KWONG
DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
Peter Kwong

Peter brings over 10 years of experience in nonprofit administration, outreach, and marketing to BGCSCTN. His expertise centers on socially conscious marketing and visual storytelling, with a commitment to promoting equity for underrepresented and underserved youth. Before joining BGCSCTN, Peter worked with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals in addiction recovery, digital literacy advocacy and life-skills development. A skilled strategist in creating and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns, Peter holds an International MBA with a specialization in Business Development and Innovation, a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy and Administration from Salem State University, and a post-MBA certificate from Clark University. He is currently working toward a Professional Certificate in Coding from MIT. In his free time, Peter is a DIY enthusiast who enjoys photography, gardening, camping, and outdoor adventures with his golden retriever, Cleo.

DESIREÉ MCLEAN
ONBOARDING AND VOLUNTEER MANAGER

Desiree’ began her journey with Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee serving as an Administrative Support Professional, where she focused on grant reimbursements that helped secure critical funding for Club operations. In 2024, she transitioned into her current role as Onboarding & Volunteer Manager, helping connect community members with meaningful opportunities to support Club youth. Before joining the organization, Desiree’ worked in the Maury County Public School System from 2017 to 2023 as a front office and attendance clerk. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Austin Peay State University.

A devoted wife and mother of two young daughters, Desiree’ is passionate about youth development and committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of the children and families we serve.

GWEN BAILEY
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

Gwen Bailey began her journey with Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee in September 2016 as a Youth Development Coordinator at Culleoka Unit School, also supporting other sites as needed.
In February 2018, she became Registrar at the Culleoka site, and by March 2020, advanced to Culleoka Site Coordinator while continuing her registrar duties. In 2021, Gwen transitioned into her current role as Administrative Support Professional. Deeply rooted in the Culleoka community since 1982, Gwen and her husband Gary raised their three daughters— Rebekah, Rachel, and Anna—all graduates of Culleoka Unit School. Her passion for supporting students and families shines through her work. Gwen shares, “It is not work or a job, but a mission.”

HEATHER GRAVES
RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

In 2025, Heather Graves stepped into the role of Resource Development Coordinator, bringing with her a deep commitment to advancing the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee. Prior to this position, Heather served as Site Coordinator at both Mt. Pleasant Elementary and the Teen Center, where she worked tirelessly to create supportive and enriching environments for youth of all ages.

Before finding her calling in youth development, Heather built a 20-year career in the restaurant industry, sharpening her leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills. She has also served as an external assessor of program quality, reflecting her dedication to ensuring high standards in every program the Club delivers.

Heather believes that every child deserves to feel loved, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her wife and daughter, making the most of family moments together.

CHRISTIAN WYATT
AREA DIRECTOR NORTH
Christian Wyatt

Area Director North Christian Wyatt is a Boys & Girls Club alum, having been a Club member in 2nd and 3rd grade while growing up in Nashville. Since then, he has volunteered at Clubs as an adult every chance he got – from coaching basketball at BGC Rutherford County, to volunteering in Homework Help at our Wayne Street site in Columbia. Christian and his family moved to Columbia in 2017 as a branch manager for US Bank. Christian first became involved with our organization as a volunteer and member of the Board of Directors in 2019, before becoming a full-time staff member as Area Director North over our Spring Hill schools in late 2019. In 2021, in addition to the Spring Hill schools, Christian also took on our school-based sites at Woodard, Santa Fe, Hampshire, Culleoka, and Mt. Pleasant Elementary.
Christian is certified as a Tier 2 National Trainer, a Methods trainer, and a Mental Health First Aid certified trainer. In 2022 he was also deemed a Certified Praesidium Guardian by Praesidium, a national leader in risk management of sexual abuse of vulnerable populations. In 2023 he won the NTI National award for Organizational Support from Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and became Trauma-Informed certified through BGCA. Christian’s favorite thing to do at the Club is play soccer and basketball with our kids, and most recently had his head shaved as a result of the members at his summer sites reading over 5,000 hours.

TERRA OSMON
SENIOR AREA COORDINATOR — SPRING HILL

Terra Osmon began her journey with Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee in the summer of 2020 as a Youth Development Professional at Battle Creek Elementary. As a YDP, she worked at Battle Creek Elementary and quickly became the site coordinator for that site. After then being a site coordinator at our Marvin Wright Site, Terra accepted the position of Area North Coordinator in the summer of 2023.

Throughout her time with the organization, Terra has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the mission—always willing to go above and beyond to support youth and staff alike. In January 2025, she further expanded her ability to serve our organization by earning her Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

HALEY MOSTILLER
WAYNE STREET/ HOWELL UNIT DIRECTOR

Wayne Street/Howell Unit Director Haley Johnson began her Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee journey in 2016 as a Youth Development Coordinator. Over the years, she has served in multiple leadership roles, including North Area Coordinator, where she managed all Spring Hill sites under the direction of the North Area Director. Haley’s dedication to our kids is evident in her positive attitude and unwavering commitment, no matter the challenges the Club may face. She completed BGCA’s Club Directors Academy in early 2020 and became a certified Tier One National Trainer later that year. She has also provided leadership at the Columbia Teen Center before being promoted to Wayne Street/Howell Unit Director in September 2025. In addition to her site leadership, Haley is deeply passionate about programming. She will play a key role in designing and shaping middle school programs across our other sites, ensuring youth have engaging, impactful experiences that support their growth.

MONICA ARMSTRONG

Monica joined our team with over 22 years of youth development experience, including 4 years as an assistant director at a youth serving facility. Monica is a native of Columbia and loves spending time with her family, which includes two wonderful children.

PERSEPHONE BEARD
SITE COORDINATOR — COLUMBIA TEEN CENTER

Persephone Beard began working with Boys & Girls Club in January 2024 as a Youth Development Professional. Through her dedication and passion for youth advocacy, she quickly advanced into her current role as Site Coordinator for the Columbia Teen Center. In her time with the organization, Persephone has positively impacted the lives of many teens and continues to be a trusted mentor and leader. She is deeply mission-driven and looks forward to growing further within Boys & Girls Club community while continuing to support and empower youth.

BRADY HARGROVE
AREA DIRECTOR SOUTH

Area Director South Brady Hargrove first began working for the Club in 2016 as a Youth Development Coordinator. He went on to become the full-time Area South Coordinator, before being promoted to Club Services Director. As Club Services Director, Brady oversees the organization’s programming, in addition to managing the academic case management program and overseeing our part-time tutors. In 2023, he was deemed a Certified Praesidium Guardian by Praesidium – a national leader in risk management of sexual abuse of vulnerable populations – as well as a Child Abuse Prevention Education (CAPE) Specialist. Brady is also certified as an NTI Tier 2 trainer, an external assessor of program quality, a DIY STEM Specialist, and a Methods trainer.

ABBY JONES
COORDINATOR — AREA SOUTH

Abby takes on a vital support role serving our Culleoka, Mt. Pleasant, Hampshire, Santa Fe, and Columbia sites. She began her journey as a Youth Development Professional, and her firsthand experience with Club culture, combined with her passion for youth development, positions her to provide strong coordination and ensure consistent program quality.

KIANE TAYLOR
PULASKI DIRECTOR
Kiane Taylor started as a Youth Development Professional with our Wayne Street Unit, before being promoted to the full-time position of Pulaski Area Coordinator in January 2024, and then Pulaski Club Director in 2025. Kiane is a Nashville native, currently residing in Lewisburg, TN. Kiane recently graduated with his Bachelors in Sociology from Middle Tennessee State University. Kiane is excited for his new role, and is passionate about helping youth reach their full potential!

ALYSSA LUNSFORD
PULASKI SITE COORDINATOR
Alyssa Lunsford

Alyssa Lunsford joined Boys & Girls Club of South Central Tennessee in 2025 with 8 years of prior experience with youth as a camp counselor, lifeguard, and coach. She began as a Youth Development Professional in Pulaski and soon advanced to Site Coordinator there. Alyssa graduated from the University of Tennessee Southern with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology in December of 2025 and is excited to better her relationships with members while passionately shaping lives!
