The staff of Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee (BGCSCTN) represents a solid foundation for our organization’s success. Committed to excellence in youth development, our team works diligently to create safe, supportive environments where young people can fully realize their potential.

Spanning Clubhouse sites and school-based locations, our staff members bring a wealth of experience in education, youth programming, and community service. Each individual is dedicated to advancing the Club’s mission, fostering academic achievement, leadership development, healthy lifestyles, and positive character growth among the youth we serve.

Recognizing that the strength of our programs is directly linked to the strength of our team, BGCSCTN is proud to maintain a nationally recognized culture of professional learning and growth. Staff members participate regularly in advanced trainings, certifications, and leadership development opportunities, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and service.

GINNY WRIGHT
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Ginny Wright joined Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee as Chief Executive Officer in October 2022, bringing over 20 years in the Boys & Girls Club movement.

Ginny’s passion for community and kids led her to the Club at an early age. She began volunteering at Boys & Girls Clubs of Rutherford County when she was 16. She worked in Clubs as a Youth Development Professional through high school and while attending the University of South Carolina. In 2005, Ginny began working full time for Boys & Girls Clubs of Rutherford County. Ginny held multiple positions, providing a first-class program and increased average daily attendance to almost 400 kids a day. In 2013, Ginny was named CEO for Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County. In her tenure as CEO, Ginny modernized Club and organizational practices, developed staff and volunteers, and created relationships throughout the Carter County community. Under her leadership, the organization more than doubled its attendance and operating revenue. Ginny was named the 2017 Southeast Region New Executive of the Year. Ginny joined Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport in 2021 to help re-open sites, increase staff training and development, and improve the Club member experience. During her time in Kingsport, Ginny created the first full time Social & Emotional Well-Being Coordinator position in collaboration with Ballad Health and other area Boys & Girls Clubs, re-opened three Club sites, and created an organization-wide training program.

In her spare time, Ginny enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her wife, two children, and dogs. She also enjoys watching the championship winning USC Women’s basketball – Go Gamecocks!

JOSH CAMPBELL
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
Josh Campbell

Josh Campbell serves as Chief Operations Officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, bringing more than 20 years of experience in youth development, program quality, and staff training.

Josh began his career in the Boys & Girls Club movement in 2004 as a summer camp counselor with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo in Michigan. In 2006, he moved to Oahu to attend Hawaii Pacific University and worked with Boys & Girls Clubs of Hawaii while continuing to return to Michigan during the summers as an assistant camp director. In 2007, Josh traveled to Kenya to help renovate primary schools and build playground equipment for children. The following year, he became Director of Community Outreach and Environmental Education for the Kalamazoo Club, a role he held for seven years before taking over operations for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Island in Hawaii in 2015.

Josh joined Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee in 2017 as Director of Program Quality and Spring Hill Unit Director. He was later selected as a Nashville After Zone Alliance Fellow and certified as an External Assessor of Youth Program Quality through the David P. Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality. In 2018, he became a certified Youth Work Methods Trainer through the Forum for Youth Investment and the Weikart Center, and in August 2019, he was promoted to Chief Operations Officer.

Josh has received several honors for his leadership and commitment to youth development. In 2022, he received Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s NTI Train the Trainer Award and was named Tennessee Professional of the Year by the Tennessee Area Council. He was selected for BGCA’s 2023 class of Woodruff Fellows, which provided scholarship support toward his Master of Education in Adult and Lifelong Learning from the University of Arkansas. Josh is also certified as an ATD Master Trainer through the ATD Certification Institute, a Child Abuse Prevention Education Specialist, and is a member of the Mt. Pleasant Rotary Club.

CARRIKA WASHINGTON
DIRECTOR OF IMPACT AND OUTCOMES
Carrika Washington

Carrika Washington serves as Director of Impact and Outcomes for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, bringing nearly a decade of Club leadership and a personal connection to the mission as a proud Club parent.

Carrika joined BGCSCTN in the summer of 2016 as Wayne Street Program Director, though her journey with the Club began even earlier through her son, Chase, who has been a Club member since kindergarten. In April 2019, Carrika became Program Outcomes Director for BGCSCTN’s Clubhouse sites before being promoted to Wayne Street/Randolph Howell Unit Director later that year. In July 2025, she stepped into her current role as Director of Impact and Outcomes.

Throughout her tenure, Carrika has played an important role in strengthening program quality and youth experiences across the organization. In 2019, she helped lead efforts that resulted in a Program Excellence Award for BGCSCTN’s SMART Girls program, and she continues to enjoy bringing the annual SMART Girls Conference to Club members. She is certified as an External Assessor of Youth Program Quality through the David P. Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality and the Nashville After Zone Alliance. Carrika is also a certified Tier 2 National Trainer, Youth Work Methods Trainer, and Mental Health First Aid trainer.

In her spare time, Carrika enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to different states, and dining at fancy restaurants.

PETER POON KWONG
DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
Peter Kwong

Peter Kwong serves as Director of Marketing and Communications for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, bringing more than 10 years of experience in nonprofit administration, outreach, and mission-driven marketing.

Peter’s expertise centers on socially conscious marketing, brand strategy, and visual storytelling, with a commitment to elevating the stories of underrepresented and underserved youth. Before joining BGCSCTN, he worked with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals in addiction recovery, while also supporting digital literacy advocacy and life-skills development initiatives.

A skilled strategist in developing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns, Peter holds an International MBA with a specialization in Business Development and Innovation, a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy and Administration from Salem State University, a post-MBA certificate from Clark University and a Professional Certificate in Coding from MIT.

In his free time, Peter is a DIY enthusiast who enjoys photography, gardening, camping, and outdoor adventures with his golden retriever, Cleo.

DESIREÉ MCLEAN
ONBOARDING AND VOLUNTEER MANAGER
Desiree’ McClean

Desiree’ McClean serves as Onboarding & Volunteer Manager for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, helping connect community members with meaningful opportunities to support Club youth.

Desiree’ began her journey with BGCSCTN as an Administrative Support Professional, where she focused on grant reimbursements that helped secure critical funding for Club operations. In 2024, she transitioned into her current role, supporting staff onboarding and strengthening volunteer engagement across the organization.

Before joining BGCSCTN, Desiree’ worked in the Maury County Public School System from 2017 to 2023 as a front office and attendance clerk. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Austin Peay State University.

A devoted wife and mother of two young daughters, Desiree’ is passionate about youth development and committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of the children and families BGCSCTN serves.

GWEN BAILEY
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
Gwen Bailey

Gwen Bailey serves as Administrative Support Professional for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, bringing years of Club experience and a deep commitment to supporting youth and families.

Gwen began her journey with BGCSCTN in September 2016 as a Youth Development Coordinator at Culleoka Unit School, while also supporting other Club sites as needed. In February 2018, she became Registrar at the Culleoka site, and by March 2020, she advanced to Culleoka Site Coordinator while continuing her registrar responsibilities. In 2021, Gwen transitioned into her current role as Administrative Support Professional.

Deeply rooted in the Culleoka community since 1982, Gwen and her husband, Gary, raised their three daughters — Rebekah, Rachel, and Anna — all graduates of Culleoka Unit School. Her passion for serving students and families continues to shine through her work. As Gwen shares, “It is not work or a job, but a mission.”

HEATHER GRAVES
RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Heather Graves

Heather Graves serves as Resource Development Coordinator for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, bringing a deep commitment to advancing the organization’s mission and supporting opportunities for young people.

Heather stepped into her current role in 2025 after serving as Site Coordinator at both Mt. Pleasant Elementary and the Columbia Teen Center. In those roles, she worked to create supportive, engaging, and enriching environments for youth of all ages.

Before finding her calling in youth development, Heather built a 20-year career in the restaurant industry, strengthening her leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills. She has also served as an External Assessor of Youth Program Quality, reflecting her dedication to ensuring high standards across Club programs.

Heather believes every child deserves to feel loved, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her wife and daughter.

CHRISTIAN WYATT
AREA DIRECTOR NORTH
Christian Wyatt

Christian Wyatt serves as Area Director North for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, bringing a lifelong connection to the Club and a deep commitment to creating positive experiences for young people.

Christian is a Boys & Girls Club alum, having attended the Club as a second- and third-grade student while growing up in Nashville. As an adult, he continued giving back whenever possible, from coaching basketball at Boys & Girls Clubs of Rutherford County to volunteering with Homework Help at BGCSCTN’s Wayne Street Club in Columbia. Christian and his family moved to Columbia in 2017, where he worked as a branch manager for U.S. Bank.

Christian first became involved with BGCSCTN as a volunteer and member of the Board of Directors in 2019. Later that year, he joined the organization full time as Area Director North, overseeing Club sites in Spring Hill schools. In 2021, his leadership expanded to include school-based sites at Woodard, Santa Fe, Hampshire, Culleoka, and Mt. Pleasant Elementary.

Christian is certified as a Tier 2 National Trainer, Youth Work Methods Trainer, and Mental Health First Aid trainer. In 2022, he was recognized as a Certified Praesidium Guardian by Praesidium, a national leader in abuse risk management for vulnerable populations. In 2023, he received Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s NTI National Award for Organizational Support and became Trauma-Informed certified through BGCA.

Christian’s favorite part of Club life is spending time with members, especially playing soccer and basketball. Most recently, he even had his head shaved after youth at his summer sites surpassed 5,000 hours of reading.

TERRA OSMON
SENIOR AREA COORDINATOR — SPRING HILL
Terra Osmon

Terra Osmon serves as Area North Coordinator for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, bringing firsthand Club experience and a strong commitment to supporting youth, families, and staff.

Terra began her journey with BGCSCTN in the summer of 2020 as a Youth Development Professional at Battle Creek Elementary. She quickly grew in leadership, becoming Site Coordinator at Battle Creek before later serving as Site Coordinator at the Marvin Wright Club site. In the summer of 2023, Terra accepted the role of Area North Coordinator, continuing to support Club operations and staff across the region.

Throughout her time with the organization, Terra has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to the mission and a willingness to go above and beyond wherever needed. In January 2025, she further expanded her ability to serve the organization by earning her Commercial Driver’s License.

HALEY MOSTILLER
WAYNE STREET/ HOWELL UNIT DIRECTOR
Haley Johnson

Haley Johnson serves as Wayne Street/Howell Unit Director for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, bringing nearly a decade of experience, leadership, and dedication to creating high-quality Club experiences for youth.

Haley began her journey with BGCSCTN in 2016 as a Youth Development Coordinator. Over the years, she has served in several leadership roles, including North Area Coordinator, where she supported operations across all Spring Hill Club sites under the direction of the North Area Director. Her dedication to Club members is evident in her positive attitude, steady leadership, and unwavering commitment, no matter the challenges the Club may face.

Haley completed Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Club Directors Academy in early 2020 and became a certified Tier One National Trainer later that year. She also provided leadership at the Columbia Teen Center before being promoted to Wayne Street/Howell Unit Director in September 2025.

In addition to her site leadership, Haley is deeply passionate about programming. She plays an important role in designing and shaping middle school programs across BGCSCTN sites, helping ensure youth have engaging, meaningful experiences that support their growth and development.

MONICA ARMSTRONG

Monica Armstrong

Monica Armstrong brings more than 22 years of youth development experience to Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, including four years serving as an assistant director at a youth-serving facility.

A Columbia native, Monica is passionate about supporting young people and helping create positive, nurturing environments where they can thrive. Her years of experience and care for children and families make her a valued member of the BGCSCTN team.

Persephone Beard

Persephone Beard serves as Site Coordinator for the Columbia Teen Center, where she brings dedication, compassion, and a strong commitment to supporting and empowering teens.

Persephone began her journey with Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee in January 2024 as a Youth Development Professional. Through her passion for youth advocacy and commitment to the Club’s mission, she quickly advanced into her current leadership role at the Columbia Teen Center.

During her time with the organization, Persephone has positively impacted the lives of many teens and continues to be a trusted mentor and leader. She is deeply mission-driven and looks forward to continuing to grow within the Boys & Girls Club community while helping young people build confidence, discover their strengths, and work toward bright futures.

BRADY HARGROVE
AREA DIRECTOR SOUTH
Brady Hargrove

Brady Hargrove serves as Area Director South for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, bringing nearly a decade of experience in Club leadership, program development, and youth support.

Brady began his journey with BGCSCTN in 2016 as a Youth Development Coordinator. He later advanced to Area South Coordinator and has continued to take on expanded leadership roles within the organization. As Club Services Director, Brady has overseen organization-wide programming, managed the academic case management program, and supported the work of BGCSCTN’s part-time tutors.

Brady holds several professional certifications that reflect his commitment to high-quality youth development and child safety. In 2023, he was recognized as a Certified Praesidium Guardian by Praesidium, a national leader in abuse risk management for vulnerable populations, and became a Child Abuse Prevention Education Specialist. He is also certified as an NTI Tier 2 Trainer, External Assessor of Youth Program Quality, DIY STEM Specialist, and Youth Work Methods Trainer.

Abby Jones

Abby Jones serves in a vital support role across BGCSCTN’s Culleoka, Mt. Pleasant, Hampshire, Santa Fe, and Columbia Club sites, helping strengthen coordination and maintain consistent program quality.

Abby began her journey with Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee as a Youth Development Professional. Her firsthand understanding of Club culture, paired with her passion for youth development, equips her to support staff, Club operations, and engaging experiences for young people across multiple sites.

KIANE TAYLOR
PULASKI DIRECTOR
Kiane Taylor

Kiane Taylor serves as Pulaski Club Director for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, bringing a strong commitment to helping young people grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.

Kiane began his journey with BGCSCTN as a Youth Development Professional at the Wayne Street Club. In January 2024, he was promoted to Pulaski Area Coordinator before stepping into his current role as Pulaski Club Director in 2025.

A Nashville native who currently resides in Lewisburg, Tennessee, Kiane recently earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Middle Tennessee State University. He is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for youth and is excited to continue serving children and families in the Pulaski community.

ALYSSA LUNSFORD
PULASKI SITE COORDINATOR
Alyssa Lunsford

Alyssa Lunsford serves as Site Coordinator in Pulaski for Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee, bringing years of experience working with youth and a passion for building meaningful relationships with Club members.

Alyssa joined BGCSCTN in 2025 with eight years of prior experience supporting young people as a camp counselor, lifeguard, and coach. She began her Club journey as a Youth Development Professional in Pulaski and soon advanced into her current role as Site Coordinator.

Alyssa graduated from the University of Tennessee Southern in December 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology. She is excited to continue strengthening relationships with Club members while helping create positive, supportive experiences that shape young lives.
