Chief Executive Officer, Robyn Peery, has accepted a position with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. She will be serving as the Director of Organizational Development (DOD) for the state of Tennessee, working with 16 Clubs around the state to help them grow their capacity to serve more young people who need a Boys & Girls Club.
While we are so sad to see Robyn go, we know she will make a great impact across the state, just as she has in our organization — helping us grow to quadruple youth served under her leadership. We will still be working with Robyn regularly, just in a different capacity as our DOD. We are so proud of Robyn and grateful for her decade of service to our kids, and we can’t wait to see the great things she does for young people across Tennessee!
A CEO search process, led by our Board of Directors, is underway.
Robyn’s last day as our CEO will be Friday, April 15th. Josh Campbell, Chief Operations Officer, and Lauren La Porte, Chief Development Officer, will be serving as Co-Interim CEOs while that process is completed. Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee is in great hands with a dedicated and talented Board and Staff team, and we look forward to hiring an amazing CEO to lead our next chapter.
The Club is grateful for the community’s continued support of our kids. If you have any questions about this transition, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at (931) 490-9401.
