Heroes, Songwriters, and Supporters Come Together to Raise critical funds for Youth in Spring Hill 

The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee welcomed over 250 guests to the UAW Hall for the 2025 Heroes and Songwriters Celebration, an evening honoring community leadership, youth empowerment, and the power of music. The event featured moving testimonials from Club members and Hero candidates, live performances from acclaimed musicians including Grammy-nominated artist Walker Hayes, and the crowning of Gina Fancher, owner of Elevate Dance Studio, as Spring Hill’s 2025 Hero of the Year.

Columbia Teen Kelsey Judd Named BGCSCTN’s 2025 Youth of the Year

Columbia teen Kelsey Judd has been named the 2025 Youth of the Year by the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee (BGCSCTN) for her resilience, leadership, and academic excellence. A 15-year-old Central High School student, she was selected from a group of outstanding candidates during a ceremony at Guitar & Cadillac Hall at Puckett’s in Columbia. Despite challenges like Type 1 diabetes and family hardships, the Boys & Girls Club provided her with stability and support. Aspiring to become a pediatric nurse, Kelsey will now serve as youth ambassador for Giles and Maury Counties and advance to the Tennessee State Youth of the Year competition in March.
