Announcing our new Director of Resource Development and Teen Services Director!

September 8, 2020

Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury County has hired Katie Rysiewicz as its new Director of Resource Development (formerly the Director of Special Events & Community Engagement). Katie comes to the Club from the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County where she served as the Director of Corporate Relations. While at the Heritage Foundation, Katie increased their sponsorship revenue by 32% from the previous year and was integral in planning the most successful Dickens of a Christmas Festival in Heritage Foundation’s history in 2019. Prior to that, Katie accumulated three years of sales experience in the hospitality industry. As Director of Resource Development, Katie will oversee the organization’s special events, corporate sponsor relationships, and community engagement efforts. “We are so excited to welcome Katie to the team, and can’t wait to see all of the great work she is going to do for our kids and our mission!” says Chief Development Officer Lauren La Porte.

The Club has also named Haley Johnson as its new Teen Services Director, over the Teen Center located in downtown Columbia. Haley first joined Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury County in 2016 as a Youth Development Coordinator. In 2019 she was promoted to the full-time North Area Coordinator supporting our Spring Hill sites. Earlier this year Haley completed Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Club Directors Academy, developing the skills she needed to take on one of our sites as a Club Director. “We are excited to bring Haley Johnson in as the next Teen Services Director,” says Chief Operations Officer Josh Campbell. “She has a demonstrated track record of success with the Maury County organization and brings a wealth of knowledge about the movement as a Tier One National Trainer and Club Directors Academy Graduate.”
