Volunteer

Volunteers are key in our mission of ensuring the young people we serve grow up to become productive, responsible citizens of our community. You can make a huge difference in the life of a child by giving your time, and positive adult role models are crucial in the successful development of our youth. Some of our youth may not even get those positive role models anywhere else outside of the Club. Whether you volunteer in daily Power Hour homework help sessions, teach our youth special skills like piano or knitting, or mentor youth through programs like SMART Girls and Passport to Manhood, you can serve alongside our staff as we work together to create a safe, positive environment for our kids where they know that caring adults are invested in their lives and their success. Even just one hour per week can have a positive impact on a child’s life.

Volunteer opportunities are also available with administrative tasks such as cleaning, organizing, filing, stuffing and addressing envelopes for Club mailings, event set up/break down, etc.  These tasks are just as important in ensuring the success of our youth, and volunteer assistance within the administrative offices is greatly valued.

Contact Dustin at (931)490-9401 ext.2623 or [email protected] to learn more about our various volunteer opportunities.

Click here to download our volunteer application and return your completed forms to [email protected] or 210 West 8th St. Columbia, TN 38401. The entrance to our administrative offices is around the back side of this building, and can be accessed from High Street through the parking lot shared by us and First Presbyterian Church.

Once your completed forms are turned in, a staff member will contact you to schedule a volunteer orientation and Club tour.
