Spring Hill, TN – April 17, 2025 – Ole South Properties, Tennessee’s largest independently and locally owned home builder, has reaffirmed its commitment to community investment by serving as an event sponsor for the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee’s recent fundraising gala benefiting youth in Spring Hill. As part of their sponsorship, Ole South made a generous $10,000 donation to support local youth programming, continuing their long-standing support of the Club’s mission to create greate futures the next generation.

The partnership was celebrated during the 2025 Heroes and Songwriters Celebration, an annual event honoring local leaders who champion the needs of young people through the Hero of the Year – Spring Hill fundraising campaign. Over six weeks, 11 dedicated community members raised critical funds to expand the Club’s impact, culminating in a special event held on April 11 at the UAW Hall in Spring Hill.

The event brought together Hero of the Year candidates, three acclaimed musicians, and hundreds of supporters for a powerful evening celebrating community spirit and a shared commitment to local youth. Guests were inspired by moving stories from Club members and heartfelt speeches from both Hero and Youth of the Year candidates. Leaders from the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee highlighted the Club’s growing impact in Spring Hill, leading up to the exciting announcement of this year’s Hero of the Year. The evening also featured an unforgettable songwriter’s round with Grammy-nominated artist Walker Hayes, along with standout performances by renowned songwriter Phil “Philbilly” O’Donnell and local artist Ivey Campbell. This memorable night was made possible through the generous support of sponsors like Ole South Properties.

“Ole South has been an incredible partner for more than three years,” said Ginny Wright, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee. “We are deeply grateful for their unwavering commitment to the children and families we serve, and for believing in the future we’re building in Spring Hill.”

As Spring Hill continues to grow, so does the need for accessible, high-quality after-school programs. Since 2022, the Boys & Girls Clubs’ average daily attendance in Spring Hill has more than doubled—from 71 to over 150 youth across four school-based sites. In response to this rapid growth, the organization is actively exploring the development of a standalone Club facility in Spring Hill to better serve the community’s evolving needs.

Jason Beavers, Vice President of Land Acquisition at Ole South Properties, emphasized the importance of investing in youth:

I believe it’s important for businesses in Tennessee to support the Boys and Girls Club to provide and prepare children for the future with mentoring, academic assistance and other life skills.

Beavers also encouraged other business leaders to witness the impact firsthand:

“I believe it’s important for businesses in Tennessee to support the Boys and Girls Club to provide and prepare children for the future with mentoring, academic assistance and other life skills. If anyone is unsure if their donation is making a difference call and make an appointment with the staff. Go see what they’re providing for the children. It truly is a wonderful organization

The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee continues to break down financial and social barriers for local youth by offering programs focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and strong character development. Thanks to Ole South’s continued investment, more children in Spring Hill will have access to safe spaces, caring mentors, and the resources they need to reach their full potential.
