Pulaski, TN — Boys & Girls Club of Pulaski is proud to host its inaugural Milk & Honey Gala on Saturday, May 10 at 6:00 PM at Hillcrest Country Club (635 Campbellsville Road). This inspiring night will unite Pulaski around a common purpose: recognizing community champions and building great futures for our youth through a new and expanded Clubhouse.
Serving over 180 local children annually, the Pulaski Boys & Girls Club is committed to offering a safe and supportive space where youth can learn, grow, and thrive. Proceeds from the Milk & Honey Gala will directly fund critical upgrades to the Pulaski Clubhouse, helping expand its reach and ensure more children in Giles County have access to life-changing programs for years to come.
The gala serves as the grand finale of the six-week “Hero of the Year” campaign, in which a dynamic group of community champions compete not for personal accolades, but for the chance to make a difference in the lives of the youth in their communities. These individuals have spent weeks mobilizing their networks, raising awareness, and securing vital funds to support Boys & Girls Club programming. Their dedication culminates in a high-energy, heartfelt celebration that will spotlight each Hero and conclude with the crowning of the 2025 Hero of the Year for Pulaski.
Guests can look forward to an evening filled with live music, drinks, delicious food, immersive entertainment, exciting giveaways, and a spirited live auction. The gala will also feature moving stories from Club members, Youth of the Year Candidate Speeches, and Club alumni, bringing to life the impact of the work being done every day within the Club’s walls.
At the heart of the Milk & Honey Gala is a critical goal: renovating the Pulaski Clubhouse. All proceeds from the event will help fulfill the match requirement for a Tennessee State grant and close the remaining funding gap. The future Boys & Girls Club in Pulaski is envisioned to become a true world-class hub for youth development, with plans that reflect the evolving needs of the community’s young people. The proposed facility will feature dedicated classrooms for academic support, a STEM technology lab, a maker space with arts opportunities, teen-specific spaces, and both indoor and outdoor gymnasiums. Additional amenities include a refurbished game room, quiet reading areas, and collaborative spaces for leadership and service activities.
“For our Club, it’s going to be a fresh start. There’s an exciting new Clubhouse we’re currently fundraising for,” said Emmylou Williams, Chair of the Pulaski Advisory Council. Williams continued, “We’re going to expand and rebuild. Our Milk and Honey Gala, along with our annual HERO event, will directly help fund these efforts so that Club consistency will not only continue, but be elevated through the services we offer to local kids and parents.”
She added, “Our kids deserve nothing less than our very best efforts, because each one receives lifelong, generationally transformative support here. There’s so much to look forward to at the Pulaski Boys & Girls Club, and it’s time for our community to rally behind our Club and our kids.”
