Virtual Learning Support Program

We are excited to now offer Club programming during the school day for virtual and remote learners! This program is available to grades 1st-5th at our Wayne Street Unit (209 Wayne St) and grades 6-12th at our Teen Center (210 W 8th St). We currently have multi-age classrooms, with instruction provided by our tutors for 4 hours each day. Students must supply the remote/virtual learning materials that they receive from their school so that our staff can help them complete their assigned work. Club staff will also be in contact with your child’s teacher.

Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided free of charge.

  • $50/week for the hours of 7:30am—2pm
  • $75/week for the hours of 7:30am—6pm (includes enrollment in our afterschool program). **Financial aid is currently unavailable for this program**

This program is FREE to the children (under 13) of essential workers now through December 31st.

For the safety of your child and your family, we will be practicing social distancing (minimum of 6 ft between participants), mandated mask wearing when social distancing is not possible, daily temperature checks and screening questionnaires at drop-off, frequent handwashing, sanitizer stations, and additional cleaning protocols during this program.

We have limited spots available.

>Existing Club members, email to get signed up for our virtual learning program at 209 Wayne St (1st – 5th graders)

>Existing TEEN members (students in grades 6-12th), email to sign up for our virtual learning program at our Teen Center in downtown Columbia

    Good afternoon,

I just got a call from Baker elementary that they are closed on Monday and will be going remote starting Tuesday. My grandchildren are already enrolled in the before/after school at Baker and I am still employed at Wms and considered an essential employee.

They are supposed to go back on 9/2, so it may only be for 2 weeks. Is there anyway they could get enrolled there for their remote learning?

    Thank you,

    Brenda Rohan
