Pulaski Site Coordinator
Tyler Mutter joined the Boys & Girls Club Movement in June 2020 as a summer tutor at our Pulaski Club. Originally from West Tennessee, Tyler attended Martin Methodist College, graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts as well as a teaching certificate. Before college, Tyler volunteered at Elizabeth Gwen Special Session summer camp for youth with special needs in 2017 and 2018. While attending Martin Methodist, Tyler served two years as a residential assistant where he organized and ran multiple campus-wide programs aimed at educating students on black and women’s history. Tyler also served as an orientation leader while attending college and served as an on-site coordinator for the United Methodist Tennessee Conference from 2019 to 2020.
From 2020 to 2021, Tyler acted as a co-leader for Martin Methodist’s intercultural and interreligious club, organizing trips and programs aimed at exposing and educating fellow students to different cultures and religions. While tutoring at the Pulaski Club, managing a caseload of 14 students over 3 academic semesters, Tyler also worked as a teacher’s assistant for a special need’s classroom at Pulaski Elementary School. In December 2021, Tyler was promoted to Site Coordinator at the Pulaski Club. Tyler believes he has found his calling in the Boys & Girls Club Movement.email@example.com 931-424-5815
